As an Event Support Crew Member, you’ll help out during INCLUDED events and activities. You’ll be one of the people making sure everything runs smoothly on the day. This could mean helping with set-up and clean-up, welcoming and checking in students, or being there to answer practical questions.
INCLUDED events come in all shapes and sizes: from workshops and movie nights to talks, pop-ups and other activities. This means your role can look a little different each time. Sometimes, we’ll also ask you to share ideas for an upcoming event or bring your perspective as a student to a brainstorm.
What will you do?
- help set up and clean up events;
- welcome, check in and guide participants;
- answer practical questions and help out where needed during events;
- sometimes take on the role of INCLUDED Host: welcoming a student who comes to an event alone and making sure they feel comfortable when they arrive;
- occasionally join brainstorms and share input from your perspective as a student.
This role is for you if:
- are a student at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences;
- enjoy hands-on work and like to get things done;
- feel comfortable approaching people and giving students a warm welcome;
- are reliable and stick to agreements;
- work well with others and notice when an extra pair of hands is needed;
- are flexible and enjoy the fact that no two events are the same;
- are regularly available after classes and in the evenings;
- feel comfortable communicating with students in Dutch and/or English.

This role is flexible and can be combined with your studies. You work based on your availability and the events you sign up for. Keep in mind that many INCLUDED events take place after classes and often in the evening.
