Over de Collegetour
De collegetour is een reeks van vier bijeenkomsten waarbij jongeren in gesprek gaan met verschillende ministers en staatssecretarissen.
Collegetour Rotterdam
Op maandag 19 juni zijn Staatsecretaris Alexandra van Huffelen (BZK), Minister Robbert Dijkgraaf (OCW) en Minister Karien van Gennip (SZW) aanwezig. Zij willen tijdens deze bijeenkomst graag in gesprek met 100 (schoolgaande en werkende) jongeren en (jong)volwassenen (18-40 jaar) met een Afro-Caribische achtergrond, over de doorwerking van het slavernijverleden in het heden.

Doe mee!
Kom met je klas, collega’s of vrienden. Dit is het evenement waar je jouw ervaringen met discriminatie, racisme en anti-zwart racisme kan delen. Je kan vragen stellen aan de ministers en de staatssecretaris die verantwoordelijk zijn voor het beleid op het gebied van onderwijs, sociale zaken en de relatie tussen Nederland en de Caribische eilanden. De bewindspersonen willen graag met jou in gesprek en willen weten wat er onder jongeren leeft. Ook horen ze graag welke ideeën (jong)volwassenen met Afro-Caribische achtergrond hebben over wat er nodig is om succesvol te kunnen participeren, leren, studeren en/of werken in Nederland.

Come with your class, colleagues or friends. This is the event where you can share your experiences with discrimination, racism and anti-black racism. You can ask questions to the ministers and state secretary responsible for policy in the fields of education, social affairs and the relationship between the Netherlands and the Caribbean islands. The ministers would like to talk to you and find out what is going on among young people. They also want to hear what ideas (young) adults with Afro-Caribbean background have about what is needed to successfully participate, learn, study and/or work in the Netherlands.
