    What are you going to do?

    The Centre of International Affairs supports internationalization within Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences. The department consists of six subteams: Marketing & Recruitment, Admissions, Student Support, Exchange, Travel and Policy & Advice. As Admissions Officer you will be part of the Admissions team, the team that conducts diploma evaluation of non-Dutch diploma’s. This team works closely together with the main student administration of the university. The position will be available immediately. Responsibilities include:

    • Processing applications of students with non-Dutch diploma’s
    • Communicating with international students and colleagues via e-mail, Teams and in person
    • Compiling student files
    • Monitoring students’ application status and acting accordingly
    • Front desk duties including managing the front desk, managing the inbox etc.
    • Attending Open Days on Saturday’s.

    Are we looking for you?

    In order to carry out the responsibilities effectively, the person appointed is required to have the following skills and experience:

    • You have at least an MBO 4 or HBO bachelor’s degree
    • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You are proficient in the English language. Dutch proficiency is recommended.
    • You are able to work accurately under pressure with deadlines during high-peak periods.
    • You are patient, customer oriented and friendly; you have a helpful attitude and are able to communicate with students and colleagues from different backgrounds.
    • You have experience in administrative processes.

    What do we offer you

    • A one-year contract upon starting employment (D4 CAO HBO)
    • Salary in scale 7 €2.918.17 minimum and €3.890,41 maximum gross per month (based on full-time employment, depending on experience and qualifications)
    • A contract of 32 hours per week
    • 8% holiday allowance + 8,3% year-end bonus
    • Up to 9 weeks of vacation (based on full-time)
