How will you make Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences more sustainable?
“I focus on raising awareness among students and staff of the impact of the fast fashion industry. I have encouraged people to swap and reuse clothing so that, together, we can actively contribute to a better world and a healthier climate.”
What are you proud of, and why?
“I am proud that an increasing number of students are committed to a sustainable future. It is wonderful to see that more and more students now understand the huge impact of the fast fashion industry, and that they are willing to contribute to change by swapping and altering clothes.”
What do you hope to contribute in the (near) future, or achieve? When will you be happy and/or satisfied?
“I will be satisfied when everyone contributes in their own way to making the Earth greener. This will always be an important goal for me. I hope to contribute further to this goal during my future internship and in my later career.”
What message would you like to share with your fellow citizens, lecturers, and students about sustainability?
“I would like to point out that, if we can increase our impact every year, this problem will not gradually get worse. Real change can only be brought about if we work together. Even small steps, such as reusing clothes, can make a difference.”
