Act

Start of the ACT (Active Collaborative Transitions) as the Sustainability Living Lab that will be a part of the MSC (Masters in the International Supply Chain Management). ACT has been rewarded the Comenius Senior Fellows grant of the NRO, for 2,5 years during which we will work on the experimentation and setting up of the ACT.

We would like you to be part of the co-design workshop and contribute to one of the educational innovations in our program.

Master International Supply Chain has the ambition to set up Active Collaborative Transition (ACT), first as a pilot and then part of its program. This is one of the initiatives in line with the RBS Masters’ focus points: flexible education, real-life challenges and collaborative learning.

ACT is an experiment and educational innovation project awarded the Comenius Senior Fellow grant for the period 2022 – 2024 (read the article in Profielen (in Dutch) about this). It is envisaged as a student centered and industry driven education with the ambition to bridge the gap between demand and supply of sustainability talent.

ACT’s vision is to empower students to pursue sustainability as a topic they care about, encourage their autonomy, facilitate deep-learning and act upon supply chain sustainability challenges. Innovative ACT setup brings together the triple helix of education, work field and research, induces and supports collaborative learning, co-creation and growth of action-oriented sustainable mindset to allow students, but also all parties, to develop and learn collaboratively.

We partner with innovative companies and academics, such as: Ecochain, Nexio Projects, NYU and Maastricht University to bring novel practical methodologies (Circular Pathways, Return on Sustainability Investment™), software (Mobius) and tools to our students and to the professional field in order to bridge the gap between sustainability concepts and practical challenges. ACT needs support of all its stakeholders in order to succeed: lecturers, researchers, students, lectors, companies, knowledge partners, sustainability enthusiasts.

Are you enthusiastic about the Living Lab and Learning Communities, sustainability and innovation in education? Keen to share your experience and ideas to make ACT a joint success?
