Plasticsoep van de dag? - Plastic soup of the day?

Plastic soup of the day?

Everyone will have noticed that a deposit has been introduced on small PET bottles. However, do you save them all up for your trip to the supermarket? You don't have to because you can put them in the bottle containers at RUAS. Not only will you be separating your rubbish, but the proceeds will also support the Plastic Soup Foundation. This organisation is committed to combating plastic in our oceans. In addition, we also contribute to a circular economy and to limiting climate change. Of course, we do not only collect PET bottles separately, but also glass, wood, paper, chemical waste, and deep-frying fat (which can be used to fuel trucks).

The Sustainable Development Goals serve as our guideline for reaching a more sustainable University of Applied Sciences.
Goal 14: Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources.
