Students will gain insight into the global maritime supply chain, increase their knowledge of all aspects of shipping and logistics, and learn how to conduct research and use the results in practice. And all this in Rotterdam, the largest port in Europe and therefore the ideal environment to increase their knowledge in the field of shipping and transport.
Wide open
The maritime and port logistics sector is constantly changing, as Frits Gronsveld knows better than anyone. According to the Executive Board member of the STC group: "With this Master students can prepare themselves optimally for the latest developments in this field. The programme is taught entirely in English which means the international business world is wide open to these students."
The Shipping & Transport Master is not only interesting to students. The business community benefits as well. "The study programme contributes to innovation in the sector and the students' final projects increase productivity in companies," says Frits Gronsveld. "And thanks to research, knowledge about the sectors is constantly increasing."
Chairman of the Executive Board, Ron Bormans, is therefore very pleased that the Master programme will be offered by Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences from September 2021.
