Rotterdam Business School (RBS) is the international institute of Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences (RUAS), which in Dutch stands for Hogeschool Rotterdam. RBS offers undergraduate and graduate education in business and economics. RBS offers English taught programs at Bachelors and Masters level. Our Bachelor program is in International Business. Rotterdam Business School (RBS) is looking to appoint an Education Officer - Examination office (0.8-1.0 fte) for the Administration Office.

Who are we?
We are the exam organisation of Rotterdam Business School (RBS). The exam organisation is a small team in which everybody has their own responsibilities, but always assist each other when needed. We enjoy a very open work culture with attention for a good work/life balance.
Who do we need?
We are looking for an Education Support officer for our digital team. This team coordinates all digital exams for our International Business students. You’ll be in charge of all related administrative tasks regarding the exams from start to finish. In general, we do not create the exams themselves, but we ensure they are ready in our exam software.
This entails among other things:
- monitoring deadlines;
- coordinating with lecturers to submit their exams;
- scheduling the exam in the examination software (at the moment we use Remindo);
- linking students to their exams;
- organising review moments and adjusting grades if needed;
- monitoring and assisting students with issues during the exam week;
- train lecturers in the examination software.
To fulfil this position you’ll need to have/be:
- MBO+ working level.
- Painstakingly accurate.
- Fluent in both English and Dutch.
- Proactive in approaching lecturers regarding their exams.
- Always on the look-out for improvements.
- Flexibility (exams occasionally be scheduled in the evenings).
- Service oriented towards colleagues and students.
- Comfortable with speaking in front of students.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office software, especially Excel.
- Culturally sensitive.
Experience within higher education and examination software is a big plus, but not essential.
What do we offer?
Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences offers you a 1 year contract (D4), which can be extended. The salary range for fulltime employment is HBO-CAO grade 7 (€2.318,56 - €3.139,09 gross per month, depending on experience), exclusive of 8% holiday pay and 8.3% end-of-year bonus.
