Assigned by the diplomatic representatives of 8 Central-American countries bachelor students of Rotterdam Business School and School of Commercial Management Studies elaborated a Business-, Marketing- and Communication Plan for a business platform or trade organization to promote business between the EU and Central-America (SICA-countries).
Benchmark by interviews with other bilateral commercial chambers, companies and relevant stakeholders, including the embassies of Central-American countries in the Hague. Additionally, Master students of RBS performed a number of sector-studies and initiated elaboration of a Plan of Implementation for establishing the Business platform.
Advise to public and private sector, resulting in initial allocation of founding parties and the establishment of a foundation servicing the Dutch-Central American Trade Organization, with professional management and student support-staff. Subsequent assignments started in September 2012.
